William Glenn Lucas

DURHAM- Mr. William “Glenn” Lucas, 77, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
Mr. Lucas was born on December 24, 1941 to the late Blanie and Emily Lucas in Spring Lake, NC. Glenn proudly served his country in the United States National Guard and was a Charter Member of Lynn’s Crossroads Ruritan Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Glenn enjoyed being with his nephews (C.E. and wife Pam, and Coy) working at their garage.
Mr. Lucas was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Blanie “Buddy” Lucas, Jr.; and sisters, Gladys, Irene, and Ertie Jean Lucas. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Lucas Gullie (George); grandchildren, August Gullie and Gracie Gullie; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A visitation will be held an hour prior to service from 12:00 t0 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Derek Ketner. Private burial to follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
