William “Paul” Boyette

Mr. William “Paul” Boyette, 77, passed away on May 21, 2022.

Paul was born June 26, 1944, a son of the late William Edgar and Sue Harper Boyette. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Boyette retired from IBM as a Custom Engineer after 46 years. Paul enjoyed fishing, photography, fixing things, and loved going to Kerr Lake. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Boyette was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Boyette and his wife, Joy Boyette.

Mr. Boyette is survived by his nieces, Heather Jennings (Barry) and Pamela Truell (Paul); lifelong special friend, Sue Starnes; step-daughters, Cheryl Daniel (Keith) and Kelly Wood (Robert); grandchildren, Charley Jennings, Lauren Autrey, Joshua Autrey, Olivia Daniel, Hannah Wood, Jacob Wood, and Jordan Truell (Jade); and great-grandchildren, Ayden, Arya, Calvin, Emmett, and Jaxyn.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Hudson Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel with military honors. Officiating will be Rev. Andrew Ivester.
