William Sterling Brown III.

CREEDMOOR- Mr. William “Billy” Sterling Brown, III, 65, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Mr. Brown was born on August 10, 1955 to the late William Sterling Brown, Jr. and Betty Ruth Adams in New Jersey. William worked as a route salesman for Coco-cola Company. He was a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church and current member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Creedmoor. Billy loved to play golf or go fishing, and was an avid Tar Heel fan. He was fun loving, enjoyed telling jokes, and never met a stranger. Billy’s family was his world. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 3 years, Rebecca Brown; son, William “Bill” Brown and his significant other, Stephanie; daughters, Tracey Brown, Stephanie Brown and her significant other, Jeff, and Amber Brown; his sister, Christine Brown; grandchildren, Gavin, Nicole, Nathan, J.J., Caleb, and Lindsey.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020 at South Granville Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Dr. Rick Finley.
