William Eddie Tice

Mr. William Eddie Tice, 81, passed away July 4th, 2024, at UNC Hospice Care. Eddie was born December 18, 1942, in Durham County, North Carolina to the late Elizabeth Gaddy Tice and Darius A. Tice. In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Tice Driver, brothers Wiley R. Tice, George Donald Tice, and Harrell Davis Tice. Eddie worked in Durham County Public Schools and was a Durham County Community Schools Coordinator. After retirement, Eddie enjoyed farming and making a number of beautiful quilts with his mother. He was devoted to the care of his parents. Eddie is survived by a sister, Sally Tice Martin of Farmville, N.C; nephew Scott Martin of China, and niece, Melissa Driver Beard of Cary, NC. 

A Graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Corey Foster. 

The family will receive friends prior to the service at from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers will be Michael Joseph Keith, James David Keith, Walker Beard, Thomas Dickerson, Marvin Jackson, and Chris Keith.
