Sandra Faye Sarvis

HENDERSON Mrs. Sandra Faye Oakley Sarvis, 72, of 103 Bobcat Lane, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
Mrs. Sarvis was born in Durham to the late Jesse Lewis Oakley and Helen Mozelle Glasgow Oakley. She attended the Harold Sherman Adult Day Care in Granville County. She was preceded in death by Oscar Elliott Sarvis.
She is survived by four sons, Charles “Breeze” Fowler of Henderson, Michael C. Fowler of Chapel Hill, Brian Glasgow of W. Virginia, and Donald Earl Sarvis of Henderson; two daughters, Sarita Lestyan of Henderson, Sheila Olds of Henderson; stepson, Roy Sarvis of Bahama; step-daughters, Barbara Leos and Janice Moore both of Durham; two sisters, Donna Evans of Carrboro and Linda Sarvis of Bahama; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Frank Sossamon will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Bradley Olds, Chad Olds, Kevin Davis, Daniel Sarvis, Kenny Sarvis, Joseph Fowler and Michael Fowler.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
