DURHAM Ms. Amelia Joann Boswell, 76, of Durham, died on Monday, November 5, 2012.Ms. Boswell was born in Elizabeth City to the late Robert Clinton Russell, Sr. and Rosalee Story Russell. She retired from Duke Medical Center in Environmental ServicesShe is survived by her friend, Elmo Honeycutt; three sons, Tracy Boswell and wife, Monica of Stem, Darryl Boswell of Durham and Ray Boswell of Butner; one daughter, Donna Mills and husband, David of Smithfield; sisters, Audrey Layden, Rose Sue Breisch, Eva Dell Riggs, Eula Faye Spruill and Virginia Perry all of Elizabeth City and Mary Wiley of Leesville, La.; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren/Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Markham Memorial Gardens. Flowers are acceptable.
