BAHAMA-Annie Mae Yeargin Ellis, 84, of Bahama died on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Robert Yeargin and Ludie Stroud Yeargin. Mrs. Ellis retired from Byrds Foods as a Deli Manager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey Ellis, one son, Russell Ellis.She is survived by two sons, Jack D. Ellis, Roger Ellis (Hazel), two daughters, Sue Poe (Jerry), Della E. Whitfield (Bert), two brothers, Earn Yeargin and Carl Yeargin, one sister, Oza Teague, two grandsons, Marty Ellis and Kyle E. Whitfield, one granddaughter, Cynthia Ann Ellis, one great-granddaughter, Taylor E. Shepherd, lifetime friends, Winston and Hilda Jacobs, and her special helper Rachael Oakley. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Ellis Chapel UMC Cemetery, 2715 Levi Lane, in Bahama. Rev. John Yount will officiate. Hudson Funeral Home will assist the family.Family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall after the service.
