Arthur Lee Wright, Jr.

WRIGHT, JR.DURHAM Arthur Lee Wright Jr. died peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at The Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro. Mr. Wright was born in Durham to the late Arthur Lee Wright, Sr. and Olive Irene Belvin Wright. He was preceded in death by his brother, Norwood Wright. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy Satterfield Wright; a daughter, Cheri Diane Bartell and husband, Julius and grandson, Jasson Bartell of Durham, along with various nieces and nephews. He was the owner of Hilltop Auto Body and was active in the Durham Soap Box Derby many years ago. He had one of the first motorcycles with a side car in Durham. He was often seen cruising town with his daughter on the cycle and his wife and pet dog in the side car. Truly a family affair. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at The Laurels for such loving care. There will be a two hour visitation on Saturday October 2,2010, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Hudson Funeral home in Durham.
