DURHAM-Mrs. Betty Ann Allen, 75, of 2919 Cheek Rd. died on Thursday, February 24, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Vance Alford and Pheadis Murray. She was preceded in death by her husband Levi P. Allen, Jr. also her son Robert W. Allen. Mrs. Allen was retired as a Teaching Assistant for Durham Public Schools, she also attended Faith Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons; Ricky Allen of Durham; Raymond Allen and wife Dawn of Albemarle, NC. One daughter Kim Allen of Durham; 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at Hudson Funeral Chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Roger Wall will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be, Steve Alford, Mike Alford, Buddy Hobby, Ricky Lee Allen, Jr., Brent Allen, Andrew Allen.
