Billy Ray Allen

BUTNER- Mr. Billy Ray Allen, 84, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019.
Mr. Allen was born on August 21, 1935 to Erwin and Lessie Allen in Durham, NC. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Bill’s Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a loving, humble, easy going, family man. Bill will be remembered for his determination, hard work, and strong will.
Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Allen; and an infant brother. He is survived by his sons, Tommy Ray Allen and Craig Irving Allen; daughter, Donna Hester; grandchildren, Jeanelle Louise Johnson, Travis Eugene Hester, and Kendra Lynn Hester; and great-grandchildren, Brianna Ellen Russell and Ryan Keith Russell.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Donnie Cash.
