Blanche A. Lane

DURHAM Mrs. Blanche A. Lane, 84, of 605 Stoney Creek Circle, died on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.Mrs. Lane was born in Logan, West Virginia, to the late Freddie Lee Adams and Margaret Baisden Adams. She retired from Nance Cafeteria as a Baker. She was of the Free Will Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Marion Lane, Jr. and a son Timothy R. Lane.She is survived by her sons, Clinnie Davis, Freddie Lane, Eddie Lane, Sidney Lane and Gary Hamm; two daughters, Teresa Hamm and Kim Lane Green; brother, Tommy Adams; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pastor Jeff Moody will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable.
