Bobby Lee Grady

DURHAM Mr. Bobby Lee Grady, 77, of Durham, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.Mr. Grady was born in Wake County, the son of the late Ervin Clarence Grady and Nora Lloyd Grady. He worked for many years with Sears as a delivery driver and later for over 20 years with Walker Auto Parts. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James “Buck” Grady, Wade “WC” Grady and William “Bill” Grady; three sisters, Mary Grady Riggs, Lillian Grady Riggs and Patricia Grady Ross.He is survived by his daughters, Lori Grady Holbrook (Terry) of Durham and April Michelle Grady of Efland; sister, Donna Grady McFarling; two grandchildren, Jonathan Going (Tessa) and Brittany Going; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Going and Emalyn Going.Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jonathan Going will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jason Gullie, Robbie Gullie, Michael Dickerson, Roy Dickerson, Jason Nazworth and Eddie Grady. Honorary pallbearers will be John Buchanan, Billy Lassiter and Todd McDowell.The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Terry and Lori Holbrook.
