Condolences and prayers to Carmen's family and friends. I am in total shock. Carmen was a former co-worker and friend. We worked together at HBR for a few years and had a great working relationship as well as friendship. I connected with her a few years ago at DRH and we had a great conversation. She will be missed!!!

My dear friend Carmen, even though we hadn’t seen each other in many years, I always remembered her with great admiration. We lived in Brooklyn NY, where our daughters shared the most wonderful babysitter at the tender age of of five to middle school. Carmen was a sweetheart and thanks for Social Media and her beautiful daughter Stephanie I knew of Carmens’ where a bouts . I often send her regards through Facebook, I was saddened to hear of her illness and prayed for healing. Her passing made me very sad, for I didn’t know the severity of her condition. Knowing that her last Thanksgiving was spent fighting for her life, makes me realize how important it is to give thanks everyday, for life can blow out like a candle even On a day of celebration. Carmen you suffer no more and I’m sure you’ve seen the eternal light that our Lord had planned for you... Sleep in peace dear friend and peace to all your family and friends. You will be missed.. beautiful lady with the dimple smile🙏🏽🧡

I had the opportunity to work with Carmen for several years at DRH. She had a smile as wide as an ocean and a laugh that was unforgettable. Such a warm hearted straight shooter. I am so glad to have our lives connected and I had the opportunity to get to know her. She will be missed. For Carmens family, the one thing she was always sure to tell you about was the love for all of you. Each of you meant so very much to her and made her life complete. Sending prayers for peace and comfort during this devastating time.

I worked with Carmen at Durham Regional and she became a close friend. Not only were we soul mates before God sent us to this earth (our birthdays was just 2 months apart) but we became life time friends on this earth. I am so sorry to hear of her passing but know she is celebrating her life with Jesus Christ for all eternity. May God comfort her family during this difficult time, as I know it's never easy to let someone go here on this earth.
