DURHAM- Mrs. Carrie Lee Dunn, 66, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019.Mrs. Dunn was born to Willis and Gwendolyn Mulchi. Carrie Lee loved to watch cooking shows and Jeopardy, her favorite hobby was playing Bingo. She enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and sisters. Mrs. Dunn loved people and was a very caring person, she was always positive and wanted happiness for everyone. Carrie Lee was at peace with God. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.Mrs. Dunn is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Gwendolyn Mulchi; husband, Edward C. Dunn; brother, Linwood D. Mulchi; sisters, Brenda Ferrell, Geraldine Wagner, and Kathy Miller; and the love of her life and life-long partner, Donnie Rigsbee.Mrs. Dunn is survived by her son, Dale Dunn (Amy) of Sevierville, TN; daughter, Michelle Dunn of Durham, NC; brother, Donald Mulchi of Oxford, NC; sister, Betty Durham of Oxford, NC; grandchildren, Matthew Dunn (Tonya), Dale Dunn, Corey Dunn, Linwood Harris, Cody Dunn, Keri Dunn, Dakota Dunn, Miley Rigsbee, Alley Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Conrad Dunn, Blaze Dunn, and Dusty Stone.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Moody. A visitation will be held following the memorial service.
