David Garland Carroll

CARROLLDURHAM In loving memory of David Garland Carroll, 46, of 3515 Wake Forest Hwy, died on Wednesday, July 21, 2010.David was a native of Durham. He was a member of Cresset Baptist Church and Three Rivers Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Garland Ross Carroll; his mother, Arah Flowers Carroll and nieces, April Lynn Melton and Beverly Elaine Roberson.He is survived by brothers, Bobby Carroll (Anita) of St. Petersburg, Fla., Lemmie “Ross” Carroll of Durham and Kenneth “Neal” Carroll (Steve Vandall) of Henderson; sisters, Carolyn Bolton (Cecil), Janet Pickett (Scott), Louise Fleming ( Robert), Gerry Taylor, (Joe, deceased) and Sandy Pleasants (Jack) all of Durham and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and special friends that knew and loved him.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Karl Leonard. A graveside service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Thanksgiving Baptist Church on Hwy 42 in Selma.The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3515 Wake Forest Hwy.
