Miss Blevins, 64, died on May 3, 2018 with end stage Kidney failure. She was born on July 22, 1953 in Chapel Hill NC.
She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Peed Blevins and her father Maurice Blevins.
Dayle was born a special needs child. In her early childhood she lived in West Jefferson, NC before moving to Durham. She continued to live with her mother until 2003 when her mother passed away.
Dayle moved to Eno Pointe Assisted Living and lived there the past 15 years. She became more outgoing with the love and affection she was shown by so many Residents, Staff members and Visitors at Eno Pointe.
She loved her Guardian, Linda Peed, and was always anxious to see her. She enjoyed holidays, birthdays and spending the night with Linda and family. It did not take much in life to make her happy.
She is survived by her cousin, Tony Peed and wife Linda, their daughter Tracey Peed and their grandson, Bennett Taylor. She also survived by Emily Clark, her roommate at Eno Point for the past year. She loved seeing Emily’s brothers and sisters come to visit and bring her hot dogs from Jimmy’s and hamburgers from McDonalds.
Dayle will always be thought of as the women who grow up to be a 6 year old little girl carrying her baby dolls and for the remarkable memorization of Birthdays of every person she ever met. She will be missed greatly by so many.
Burial at Maplewood Cemetery will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Eno Pointe on May 20, 2018. Rev. Ken Price will officiate.
