SWANEYHILLSBOROUGH Deloress Leona Swaney, 70 of 1705 Coleman Loop Rd. died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Meadowlands in Hillsborough.She was born in Chatham County N.C. to the late John Swaney and Margaret Dixon Swaney. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Assembly of God. She is survived by two sons, John Thrift and wife, Sherry of Youngsville; Jimmy Thrift and wife, Becky of Kittrell, NC; two daughters; Teresa Copley and husband Glenn of Hillsborough, Pamela Norwood of High Point; brother Brack Swaney of Michigan; two sisters Linda Coggins and husband Wayne of Mebane, Essie Boring of Durham ; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. John Thrift will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter Teresa Copley, 1705 Coleman Loop Rd. in Hillsborough.
