Donald Riggsbee

DURHAM- Donald “Dude” Dallas Riggsbee, 83, of Durham died on Saturday, December 1, 2012. He was the son of the late Garney Riggsbee and Sara Howell Riggsbee. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Coca Cola as a service repairman. Mr. Riggsbee was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Bullock Riggsbee.He is survived by his two daughters, Donna Emory (Billy) of Durham; Teresa Buchanan (Jerry) of Johnson City, TN; one grandson, Daniel Emory and three granddaughters, Ashley and Morgan Buchanan and Janet Emory. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Dr. Marc Francis will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Family will be assisted by Hudson Funeral Home.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., 1 hour prior to the service, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
