TERRELLDURHAM Donna Kay Terrell, 47, of 3315 Summerlin Road, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Donna was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. She retired after 20 years of service from Verizon. She was of the Baptist faith.She is survived by her mother, Kay T. Altman and Jimmy Phillips of Durham; her father, Donald William Terrell, Sr. and stepmother, Bonnie of Roxboro; two brothers, Donald William Terrell, Jr. and wife, Rosa of Mebane and John Craig Terrell of Durham; stepsisters, Angie Bowes and Pamela Bowes both of Roxboro; niece, Charity Terrell,nephew, Donald Douglas Terrell and longtime friend,Lillian Carmack.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Whitt and Pastor Clarence Parrish. Burial will be in the Glenn Family Cemetery.Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Tilley, James Phillips, Jr., Wayne Garrett, Mark Tilley, Jerry Noah and Kenny Ashley. Honorary pallbearer will be Donald Douglas Terrell.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m., before the service, at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother, 3315 Summerlin Road.
