Edwin Allen Ed Wright, Sr.

WRIGHT IIDURHAM Mr. Edwin Allen “Ed” Wright, Sr., age 61, of 3034 Rosewood Drive, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2010.Mr. Wright was the son of the late J. G. Wright and Mary Lee Wright. He retired after being disabled from Durham Regional Hospital as a Purchasing Agent. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Mathis.He is survived by his wife, Donna Powers Wright; son, Edwin “Allen” Wright, II of Durham; daughter, Jennifer Gayle Wright McKay of Durham; one sister, Peggy Wright Altman and two grandchildren, Brooke and Jessica Wright.Memorial services will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Greg Allison, Rev. Jimmy Hall and David Altman.
