Elaine Massengill

MASSENGILLDURHAM Ms. Elaine Massengill, 84, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Elaine was a lifelong resident of Butner. She retired after 30 years from the State of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband William B. Massengill, daughter Sharon Massengill and son James Massengill.She is survived by her son David Massengill; three grandchildren, Lori Emory of Butner, Karen Wright and husband Allen of Durham, and Brian Massengill and wife Jennifer of Durham and great-grandchildren Joseph and Trent Emory, Brooke and Jessica Wright, and Khloe and Levi Massengill.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home in Durham.The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon- 1 p.m. before the services at Hudson Funeral Home.Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to Bible Baptist Church, 2047 Gate Number Two Road, Creedmoor, NC 27522.
