Elizabeth Sink Thomasson

THOMASSONDURHAM Mrs. Elizabeth Sink Thomasson, 87, of Durham, died at Durham Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 10, 2011.Mrs. Thomasson was born in Greensboro to the late David and Ola Ivy Sink. She retired from People Security Life Insurance Company. She was a member of Gorman Baptist Church and the Summerlin Sunday School Class. As a member of the Gold Leaf RV Club, she was able to travel all 50 states in her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Thomasson in 2001.She is survived by her son, Charles David Thomasson and a special friend and loving caretaker, Nancy Pugh.Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Dr. C. J. Bordeaux, Sr. will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., before the service at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
