Gary Michael Zahniser

Gary M. Zahniser, 69 years old of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Gary was born on March 23, 1947 in Cleveland, OH. He is a graduate of St. Edward High School and Kent State University. He spent his professional career in sales with Campbell Soup Company and Con Agra and worked with Wyndham Hotel and Resorts after moving to North Myrtle Beach, SC.
He is the beloved husband of Patricia A. (nee Anderson); loving father to Melissa (Lane) Wiggers and James Zahniser; dear brother to William Zahniser and Judith Smilor and fun-loving grandfather to Maura and Chase. Loving uncle, cousin, friend, father-in-law and brother-in-law. Gary was preceded in death by his treasured daughter Angela, loving mother Judith, and youngest brother Mark. His love of family, golf and all sports will be carried on in his honor by his many friends and relatives.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 8th Av. N., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 on May 6, 2016 at 11:00am. A luncheon will follow the Mass in the Church Meeting Hall. All are invited to attend. A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date in Strongsville, OH.
