OAKLEYDURHAM Mrs. Helen Mozelle Glasgow Oakley, 87, of Durham, died at Rose Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, April 02, 2011.She was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren and she will be greatly missed.Mrs. Oakley was born in Orange County to the late Barney and Fannie Presnell Glasgow. She retired from Empire Drapery as a Seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. Oakley and a son Larry Oakley.She is survived by her daughters, Linda Sarvis and husband, Roy of Bahama, Donna Evans and husband, Fred of Carrboro and Sandra Sarvis of Henderson; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Hopson-Oakley Family Cemetery on Broach Road. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 7903 Country Knoll Road. Flowers are acceptable.
