Irene Lamm Marshburn

DURHAM Mrs. Irene Lamm Marshburn, 83, of Durham, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, April 19, 2013.Mrs. Marshburn was born in Nash County to the late Henry T. and Dona Perry Lamm. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family and church. She was a member of the First Assembly of God for 51 years.She is survived by her daughter, Evangeline Ritch of Durham; sons, James G. Marshburn of New Bern, Danny Marshburn of Blacksburg, SC, Steve Marshburn and David Marshburn both of Durham; three brothers, one sister, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God, officiated by Rev. James Marshburn. Burial will be in Markham Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kevin Marshburn, Jonathan Ritch, Ray Chiles, Mike Fletcher, Nathan Wall and Joey Giatino. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
