James Michael Mike Massengill

MASSENGILLBUTNER Mr. James Michael Massengill “Mike”, 62, died on Monday, October 18, 2010.Mike was a lifelong resident of Butner. He retired after 30 years from the state of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his father, William B. Massengill. He is survived by his wife, Janice Massengill; his mother, Elaine Massengill; one son, Brian Massengill and wife, Jennifer of Durham; two daughters, Lori Emory of Butner and Karen Wright and husband, Allen of Durham; brother, David Massengill and grandchildren, Khloe and Levi Massengill, Joseph and Trent Emory and Brooke and Jessica Wright. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Greg Allison and Rev. Jimmy Hall. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:30 to 3 p.m., before the service at Bible Baptist Church.
