Janet Faye Brown Billings

BILLINGSDURHAM Mrs. Janet Faye Billings, 65 of Durham, died on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Mrs. Billings was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late James Edward Brown and Mamie Viola Smith Brown. She was a beloved wife, mother and MeMa to her family. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and taught her family about the love of Christ. God was the center of her life and that love poured out to her family and those around her. She was her sister, daughter, son and husband’s best friend.She is survived by her husband, Larry Billings; one son, Craig Billings and wife, Mandy of Chapel Hill; one daughter, Renee Cramer and husband, David of Durham; brother, Larry Brown and wife, Helen of Kentucky; sister, Sherry Botts and husband, Tony of Durham; eight grandchildren, Lee Cramer, Ashley Cramer, Laura Cramer, Christian Cramer, Austin Cramer, Megan Billings, Miranda Billings and Morgan Billings.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Durham. Dr. Andrew Davis and Rev. Andy Winn will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of David and Renee Cramer, 601 Red Cedar Circle, Durham, NC 27712.
