Judy Riggsbee Holder

DURHAM Mrs. Judy Riggsbee Holder, 71, of 1533 Marly Drive, died on Sunday, September 02, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.Mrs. Holder was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Ralph Riggsbee and Mavis Hinsdale Riggsbee. She retired from RTI. She was a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church and the Encouragers Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Holder.She is survived by her three daughters, Karyn Watkins of Hurdle Mills, Conni Rigsbee and Krista Harris both of Durham; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Rigsbee, Jacob Fish, Haley Harris, Ryan Harris and a great-grandson, Braylen Fish.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Hugh O’Shields. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Dwight Watkins, Tony Harris, Jacob Fish, C. L. Ashley, Randy Leathers and Chris Holder.The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1533 Marly Drive.
