Karl Edward Ahrens

RALEIGH Mr. Karl Edward Ahrens, 89, of Raleigh, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Mr. Ahrens was born in Essex County, NJ, the son of the late Eric Ahrens and Helene Butefisch Ahrens. He served in the U. S. Navy and retired from IBM Corporation as a Technician.
Surviving are his wife, Joan Marie Lister Ahrens; son, Mark Ahrens; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Salisbury National Cemetery. Chaplain Jimmy Porter will officiate. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
