Kennedy A. Sloan

DURHAM- Kennedy A. Sloan, October 24, 2000 to May 31, 2020. Kennedy A. Sloan passed away unexpectedly May 31st in Oxford, NC. She was born in Durham, NC and attended Orange High School. Kennedy had a passion for pleasing & caring for others and this led to her starting a career in healthcare. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked a very challenging case for Affordable Family Care services and excelled at it. Kennedy attended Vance Granville Community College with aspirations of finishing nursing school and becoming an RN. Kennedy was a selfless and loyal individual who stood out in a crowd from her sheer beauty & her contagious laughter. She put others first and loved unconditionally. Nothing pleased her more than bringing a smile to someone’s face.

Kennedy is survived by her father, Greg Sloan (Lori); mother, Tammy Daniels; brother, Austin Sloan, paternal grandfather, James Sloan & maternal grandfather, Warren Daniels.

A private graveside service will be held at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
