Lois Jean Cooper

DURHAM Mrs. Lois Jean Cooper, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2012, after years of declining health. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ora Cooper, sister, Retha Colclough, daughter, Donna Moser and grandson, Michael Shane Hudson. She retired from Burroughs Wellcome. Mrs. Cooper attended Smith Chapel Church.She is survived by her son, Greg Drake and wife, Terry; three grandchildren, Brad Hudson and wife, Cindy, Christy D. Davis and husband, Sidney and Tracie Walters and husband, Scott; ten great-grandchildren, Jacob Walters, Michael Walters, Sydney Davis, Kayla Davis, Morgan Walters, Natalee Walters, Bailey Hudson, Cole Hudson, Dalton Hudson and Drake Davis.Graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Michael Walters, Jacob Walters, Scott Walters, Brad Hudson, Sidney Davis and Mark Morgan.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4103 Cheek Road. Flowers are acceptable.
