Lottie Nadine Davis Kelly

DURHAMLottie Nadine Davis Kelly, 89, was born in Braymer, MO, on 2/22/1921 and died on Mother’s Day, 5/9/2010. Nadine was the only child of Frank and Paulina Davis. Nadine spent most of her adult life in Durham and worked as a nurse at Watts, Duke and McPherson’s Hospitals. She was a member of Northgate Presbyterian Church in Durham for more than 50 years. She was active in The Exchange Club and Willowhaven Country Club. Nadine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas L. Kelly; son, Larry T. Kelly and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Travis Kelly, April Nipper and John H. Bost III; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Special thanks to Hospice of Meadowlands, April Nipper, Gary Baker and Nettie Edmonds with Home Helpers for their excellent care. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at Hudson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Larry Kelly, 3711 New Sharon Church Road in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made Hospice at Meadowlands, 1001 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278.Arrangements are by Hudson Funeral Home.
