Margaret McGee Webb

DURHAM- Mrs. Margaret McGee Webb, 94, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Hock Family Pavilion.

Mrs. Webb was born August 29, 1926 to the late Lester and Tessie McGee in Wake County, NC. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, the outdoors, crocheting, quilting, collecting rocks, gemstones and Indian Artifacts, fishing and riding her golf cart. She loved jewelry. Mrs. Webb enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had one requirement that all her family was to be together at Thanksgiving. Mrs. Webb will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Webb is preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce McGee, Don “Susie” McGee, Harold “Tee” McGee, Delma McGee and Billy McGee.

Mrs. Webb is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thad Webb; son, Bud Critcher; daughter, Judy Jones (Steve); grandchildren, Jodie Edwards (Butch), Kimberly Edmiston (Armando), Forrest Steele (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Chase Edwards, Chesney Edwards, Cullen Edwards and Mia Edmiston; niece, Patricia Flick (John), Adreanna Rounds (Shane) and son, Bryson and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Scotty Pearce.
