Mary Frances Colclough

COLCLOUGHDURHAM Miss Mary Frances Colclough, 92, a former resident of Leesville Road, died at the Hillcrest Convalescent Center on Sunday, October 3, 2010.Miss. Colclough was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Colclough and Eva Lynam Colclough. She retired after 35 years from the American Tobacco Company. She was a lifelong member of Bethesda Baptist Church, the PrimeTimers and a devoted member to her Sunday School Class. She loved her friends and family, and was especially devoted to her nephew Grover who was like a son to her.She is survived by her sister, Hazel C. Tyson and Aleese C. Yancey both of Durham and a nephew, Grover Fielding Yancey and wife, Kathleen.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bethesda Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Hugh O’Shields. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
