Mary Louise Hawley

DURHAM- Mary Louise Meeler Hawley, 85, of Durham died on Friday, April 5, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Willie Floyd Meeler and Mary Murray Meeler. She retired from Liggett & Myers as a supervisor and was a member of Bethany UMC. She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Hawley, four brothers, Jesse A. Meeler, W.F. Meeler, Charlie Murray Meeler and Francis Meeler.She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Hawley of Durham; Donna Kalbaugh (Chip) of Midlothian, VA; and Teresa Hawley of Durham; three brothers, Jack Meeler (Mary Lou) of Alton, VA; Wright Meeler (Donna) of Brandon, MS; Mac Meeler (Kate) of Sutherlin, VA; two grandchildren, Matthew Kalbaugh and Sara Kalbaugh, host of cousins, nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Weaver will officiate.The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at Hudson Funeral Home.
