DURHAM-Mrs. Nancy C. Couch, 94, of Durham, died on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Treyburn Health Care. She was born in Springfield, TN. Mrs. Couch was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Walter Salmon and John Couch, two sons, Donald Salmon and Buddy Salmon.She is survived by one son, Ray Salmon (Wife) Gale of Hillsborough; six daughters, Ramona Pendergraph (Husband) Frank of Hillsborough; Frances Berry (Husband) Eddie of Hillsborough; Becky Overton (Husband) Pete of Durham; Carol Blake (Husband) Wayne of Robbins, NC; Marsha Johnson (Husband) Chuck of Hillsborough and Nancy Lou Hall (Husband) Lanny of Durham; eighteen grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at Hudson Funeral Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Wesley Blake will officiate. Burial will in Northern Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Salmon, Nick Pleasants, Glenn Berry, Jeffery Berry, Dale Overton, Ronald Salmon, Lee McLeod and Wiley McLeod. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Salmon and Myron Salmon. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
