CRAINPROSPECT HILL Mr. Norwood Scott Crain, 49, of 14052 Hwy 86 North, died on Friday, October 1, 2010.Mr. Crain was the partner/ owner of the Crain Brothers Paint Company. He was known as “Mileormore” or “Bird” to his family and friends. He loved his family and he never hesitated to tell us. He was a loving committed father, son, brother and grandfather. His place in this world can never be filled. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Fleming Crain.He is survived by his mother, Gloria Crain of Durham; three sons, Jeffery Scott Crain of Prospect Hill, Cory Clyde Crain and Troy Arthur Crain both of Durham; two daughters, Cindy Delle Champion and Mindy Mechelle Crain both of Prospect Hill, three brothers, Steven Crain of Prospect Hill and Timothy Crain and Michael Crain both of Durham; two sisters, Elizabeth Crain Nieves of Cary and Kimberly Crain Harris of Hillsborough and nine grandchildren.Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cornerstone Community Church, 222 Robbins Road in Durham. Rev. Donald Wadford will officiate. The family will be at the home of his mother, Gloria Crain, 1022 Ellis Road in Durham.
