Orrin Neal Frye

Mr. Orrin Neal Frye, 74, passed away on September 16, 2021 in Winnabow, NC.

Mr. Frye was born October 23, 1946 in Durham to Orrin Fred Frye and Hilda Howe Frye who precedes him in death.

Neal was an avid NC State sports fan (especially football) and loved spending time at the North Carolina beaches. He was also a Civil War enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, Neal is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Philip Crabtree, Jr.

Neal is survived by two sons; James Neal Frye (Jennifer) of Clayton, NC and Ryan Neal Frye (Kaci Ferrell) of Durham; brother, Fred Michael Frye (Kimberly); sister, Cindy Crabtree; Grandchildren, James Frye, Sadie Frye, Ryan Frye, Jr., Alissa Parker, Liam Frye, Isabella Frye, Gabriella Frye, Olivia Horne and Gavin Clough; Nephew, Phil Crabtree and Niece, Julie Crabtree Webb.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
