Patricia Barden Berryman

DURHAM Mrs. Patricia Jane Barden Berryman, 80, of Durham, died on Monday, October 16, 2017.
Mrs. Berryman was born in Alexandria, Virginia, the daughter of the late Henry Thomas Barden, Jr. and Tacey McGwynn Barden. She retired after 27 years from Sears. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, Primetimers and the Truthseekers Sunday School Class. Mrs. Berryman enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Allen Berryman and her son, William Edward Berryman.
She is survived by her son Richard Allen and wife, Kim; daughters, Marjorie Yvonne Tye and husband, Michael, Cindy Lou Hutch and Robin Lynne Elliott and husband, Marvin; brothers, Marshall Barden and Arthur Barden; sisters, Melinda Pierce, Shirley McKenney and Elizabeth Eisemann; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church. Rev. Hugh O’Shields will officiate. Burial will be in Raleigh Memorial Park.
