Peggy Ann Johnson May

DURHAM Mrs. Peggy Ann Johnson May, 75, of Durham, died on Sunday, November 5, 2017.
Mrs. May was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Woodrow W. Johnson and Sally Louise Elliott. She was employed with Glaxo Smith Kline and as Deli Manager with the A&P Store. She was a member of the Church of God in Efland and loved going to church. She was preceded in death by her son, Harrison Eugene May, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harrison Eugene May; brothers, Woodrow Wiley Johnson of Raleigh, James Johnson (Judy) of High Point, Wayne Johnson (Cindy) and Tommy Johnson (Diane) both of Durham; grandchildren, Chris Campbell and wife, Christen and Melissa Campbell; great-grandchildren, Alysann Lloyd, Tyler Lloyd and Dylan Herndon.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Deborah Perkins will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Randy Warren, Danny Perkins, Ricky Honeycutt, Frank May, Wayne Johnson and Tommy Johnson.
