Peggy Harris Hall passed away on December 17, 2017 in her home in Butner, North Carolina at the age of 81. Peggy was born March 21, 1936 in Durham, NC to the late Raymond Harris and Ester Carpenter Harris. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, James Hall, son, Michael Hall and brothers, Linwood Harris and James Harris. Peggy is survived by her son, Randy Hall (Sherri); grandchildren, Jeff Hall (Julie), Jennifer Tillman (Jesse), Jonna Hall and Rebeka Barringer (Stephen); 4 great-grandchildren (Wade, Wyatt, Kalli and Chelsea); sisters, Minnie Melvin, Myrtle Weaver, Patricia Sharpe and Carolyn Hall (Clyde); special sister-in-law Bonnie Hall and caregiver Betty Rowless. Visitation will be held at Hudson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and other times at her home in Butner. Graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be James Hall, Assistant Pastor of Bible Baptist Church. Peggy attended Bible Baptist Church in Butner, NC and was a member of the Auditorium Sunday School Class. Peggy was a long-time employee of Nortel Networks and retired from the company in 1994. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters and friends, tending to her garden and flowers and spending Sundays with her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Kindred Hospice, 136 Roxboro Road, Oxford, NC 27565.
