HENDERSON Mr. Percy Louis Duke, 80, of 594 Aycock Road, died on Friday, November 9, 2012.Mr. Duke was born in Durham to the late Graham and Lillie Mae Teasley Duke. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean War. He retired as a Senior Master Carpenter with the Duke University Carpenter Shop. He enjoyed fishing.He is survived by his son, Bennie Duke and wife, Sandra; two daughters, Teresa Matthews and husband, Danny and Lisa Champion and husband, Buck; 7 grandchildren, Christopher Duke (Jennifer), Tiffney Cooley (Steven), Nicholas Bullock, Bradley Crabtree, Justin Crabtree, Josh Champion and Victoria Champion; 6 great-grandchildren, Jaxon Duke, Camron, Duke, Caden Duke, Jossalyn Duke, Aubrey Crabtree and Mackenzie Champion.Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel of Hope Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m., before the service at the Mausoleum and other times at the home of his son, Bennie Duke, 509 Lake Winds Trail in Rougemont.
