Randy Gene Lewis

LEWISWAKE FOREST Mr. Randy Gene Lewis, 62, of 1117 Allen Woods Drive, Wake Forest, died on Friday, August 6, 2010.Mr. Lewis was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Lawrence L. Lewis, Sr. and Dorothy Hunt Lewis. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and also in the National Guard. He was a bus mechanic with the Durham Public School System. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine G. Lewis in June 2008. He is survived by three sons, Jeffery Lewis, Rodney Lewis and wife, Lori Ladd and Steven Lewis all of Wake Forest; daughter, Stephanie Bowen and husband, Chris of Franklinton; brother, Larry Lewis of Durham; sister, Brenda Caddell of Franklinton and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening before the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
