Julie and Catherine, I am so saddened to hear of Bobby’s passing. I remember many weekends spent with Julie as kids. Bobby and Catherine were both a barrel of laughs! Some of my fondest childhood memories. As I have lost my sweet mother and sister in the past 2 years... I understand your heartbreak and will pray for you in the weeks and months to come. Just remember this... one day at a time...one day at a time. Much love to you both! May Bobby Rest In Peace .

I had a great dad growing up. But he was taken away by his job a lot. Bobby Bowling took his place during my teenage years more than he would probably ever know. He was one of my best friend's dad, he was my Scoutmaster, and a church going man that never missed an opportunity to show me how to behave like a man should. As our Scoutmaster, he took us to the woods, taught us how to be self sustaining, and didn't ask us to do anything he wasn't ready to do himself. And he did it with a smile on his face and joy in his heart. While he's Bobby to most, he'll always be "Cheese" to me and a lot of the other scouts from Durham Memorial. He lived a good life, raised a great family, and left a lasting legacy. I love him, and will miss him. But I know that God has him and has him busy in the woods of Heaven.
