Robert Bryan Gowens

BUTNER- Mr. Robert Bryan Gowens, 48, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Murdoch Developmental Center.
Mr. Gowens was born January 10, 1969 in Lynchburg, VA to William Obie Gowens and Barbara Turner. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lexington, VA for several years.
Mr. Gowens is preceded in death by his loving step father, Coy Turner.
Mr. Gowens is survived by his mother, Barbara Turner; sister, Paula Lang (Mark); niece, Ashley Beck Clark; nephews, Cody and Kyle Beck, along with Dickie K his longtime friend as well as his loving family at the Murdoch Developmental Center.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Murdoch Chapel, 1600 East C Street, Butner, NC 27509. Officiating will be Rev. Brandon Rhodes.
