Roger Gene Cash

CREEDMOOR Mr. Roger “Gene” Cash, 73, of 1153 Cash Road, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
Mr. Cash was a native and lifelong resident of Creedmoor, the son of the late Lucius Cash and Morrison Estes Cash. He retired after 25 years from IBM Corp in the Utility Plant. He was a member of Hester Baptist Church in Oxford. He loved woodworking, gardening and riding his tractor.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy M. Cash; daughter, Karen C. Smith and husband, Bill of Creedmoor; granddaughter, Taylor Melton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, followed by a private family burial in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Rev Dan Hill and Rev. Jonathan Barbee will officiate and Eulogy by Dave Currin
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at 1153 Cash Road.
