Rose Lee Hicks

DURHAM- Mrs. Rose Lee Hicks passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020.
Mrs. Hicks was daughter to the late Benjamin and Nance Forsythe. She enjoyed cooking and being outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and boating. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by her sons, Edward Ray Freeman of Durham, Bobby Jackson Freeman (Donna) of Stem, NC, William Thomas Freeman of Pelham, NC, and Jackie Lynn Freeman of Durham; daughter, Evelyn Freeman Daw of Smithfield, NC; 30 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Reverend Ray Smith. Hudson Funeral Home will offer the public an opportunity to stop by and view or sign a register book from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday.
