Thomas Raymond Wells

Thomas Raymond Wells, 64, Orange City, Florida passed on to meet his Lord Jesus Christ, Tuesday, July 12, 2011. He was born and raised in Upstate New York. He moved to North Carolina after returning from serving his country in the U. S. Army. It was there he met his love, Nancy, and raised his three children, Cindy, Rob, and Kim. Upon his retirement, after 30 years at IBM, he and Nancy relocated to Tyler, Texas to serve as missionaries with MercyShips. In 2005, Tom and Nancy moved to Florida to be closer to family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years,Nancy Barbee Wells; his three children,Cindy Marshall and husband, Scott, Rob Wells and Kim Wells and three grandchildren,Sierra Michelle Wells,Matthew Thomas Marshall and Meredith Leigh Marshall; his mother, Bernice Wells and two sisters, Fran McDonald and Carol Donahue. His earthly body was donated for cancer research, as he wished. His memorial celebration will be held at Living Waters in Durham at 3pm on Sunday, July 24, 2011.
