Vera Lee Tapp Medlin

ROUGEMONT Mrs. Vera Lee Medlin, 85, of Rougemont, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.Mrs. Medlin was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Allen Roger Tapp and Mana Thompson Tapp. She had lived the last 34 years in Person County as a homemaker. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Medlin retired from Gold Kist Poultry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Bobby Medlin, Sr.; two brothers and one sister.She is survived by her children, Joe Medlin, Bobby Medlin, Jr., Linda Medlin Spence and Jerry Medlin; one brother and two sisters, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Dr. M. David Chambers will officiate. Pallbearers will be Roger Medlin, Gerald Medlin, Bobby Medlin, III, Jimmy Riley, Mike Medlin David Medlin and Chris Riley.The family will receive friends on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
