Virginia Lynch Bryant

DURHAM- Mrs. Virginia Lynch Bryant, 93, of Durham died on Friday, January 24, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Fred Baird Lynch and Nellie Moore Lynch. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church since 1961 and taught Sunday School there for over thirty five years. She was preceded in death by her husband William Woodrow Bryant.

She was survived by four daughters, Carolyn Gilreath of Greenville, S.C.; Faye Pickens (John) of Durham, Gail Smith (Ray) of Durham and Brenda McClintock (Scott) of Durham; five grandchildren, Bill Smith, Steve Smith, Tina Dail, Cindy King and Connie Buchanan, eleven great-grandchildren, Taylor Melton, Timothy Dail, Christopher King, Tucker Smith, Philip Dail, Melissa King, Sidney Smith, Kaitlyn King, Stephen Dail, Jaclyn Dail and Kathryn Dail.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Dr. Rick Finley, Dr. Lonnie Graves and Rev. Kevin Dail will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, Bill Smith, Steve Smith, Tucker Smith, Timothy Dail, Philip Dail, Christopher King and Stephen Dail. Honorary pallbearers will be Brock King, Ricky Buchanan, Darrell Slaughter, James Slaughter, Ray Ellis, Ricky Oakley and Bud Parton.
